Palm seeks software boost with Be buy - Tech News - CNET.com

Palm announced on Thursday that it is acquiring the assets and intellectual property of software maker Be for $11 million in stock, as it seeks to bolster its software division.
The handheld giant is hoping the acquisition will strengthen its ability to create development tools and communications, Internet and multimedia technologies.
